Lauren is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and licensed behavior Analyst in the state of Oregon. She joined the Building Bridges team in 2009 as a behavior therapist, implementing evidence-based practices with children with autism. She before became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2014. Lauren earned her undergraduate degree in psychology at Portland State University, followed by her master’s degree in counseling psychology from Pacific University, becoming a licensed professional counselor with the state of Oregon. Lauren went on to receive her certificate in applied behavior analysis at Florida Institute of Technology and obtained her license and certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Her clinical focus involves a collaborative approach to the treatment of autism, involving family and other providers to maximize generalization of skills across environments. In her free time, Lauren enjoys knitting, crafts, and exploring nature.
